Manuscript
Analysis
For a very few, very
special MSs, Beverly takes on the role of mentor to an author ... and
agrees to read the MS and report back on what she sees as strengths,
weaknesses, and possible fixes. These reports are detailed,
extremely frank, and substantive. This is not an edit; it is
instead an extended and very detailed Master Class.
Beverly brings to
this
effort the experience of twenty-six years and some eighteen novels,
publishd by the likes of Random House, Bantam Doubleday and Dell
(before they were one and the same). Currently, as Beverly
Swerling, she is published by Simon and Schuster. Before that she
was a free lance journalist working for major publications. Her
fiction has been translated into a dozen or so languages and is for
sale in Europe, Asia and South America, as well as North America.
Reading slots are
limited, granted for two week periods, and are usually booked two to
three months in advance. Advice about representation is available
at the end of the process. Please
email Beverly@agentresearch.com to discuss the
possibility of a Manuscript Analysis.
"My novel, SAVING MAX, is slated to be
published in August 2010. I will also be attending the Harlequin
annual sales conference in Jacksonville, Florida, where I hope to meet
a variety of vendors and bookseller reps. I want you to know that
I have finished the acknowledgements for the book. You figure
largely in my thanks. Without your support and wise counsel, my
manuscript would have been burned in the backyard long ago!"
